The poetry of Afzal Ali, always so dear

A voice from the past, Afzal Ali's name

Inscribed in history, forever the same

A poet of Bengal, his words did impart

Emotions and wisdom, that reach every heart

In Nasihatnama, his legacy remains

A beacon of light, through the dark of pains

Sermons so simple, yet rich with truth

His language so powerful, it rings like a flute

He spoke of justice, for the poor and meek

His commitment to right, ever so unique

In a world filled with chaos, his words did bring calm

Guiding us all, with the power of his palm

Though centuries have passed, his voice still lives on

His words still echoing, from dusk till dawn

A true inspiration, to all who would hear

The poetry of Afzal Ali, always so dear.
