 My father, gone but never forgotten,

A memory etched in my heart.

Twelve years have passed, but still I'm smitten,

With the love and guidance you imparted.

You taught me how to be strong,

To face the world with courage and grace.

You showed me right from wrong,

And taught me to find my place.

You were my rock, my guiding light,

My shining star, my hero too.

You held my hand so tight,

And saw me through and through.

But now you're gone, and I'm alone,

Though we're apart, you're not unknown,
